How to Create a Chart in SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)

Steps to create a chart in Microsoft SSRS:

  1. Start with a Matrix chart (which isn't great for showing the complete breakdown of how the orders are coming into the system).
  2. Modify the report to show the data in an exploded pie chart.
  3. Customize which values to showcase in a chart.
