Chris Hagans – Vice President of Operations.
Chris has spent 15 years working with clients on their strategies for getting ‘data to decision makers’. His experience from roles such as senior BI architect, data visualization lead, senior data warehouse architect, project manager and ETL developer has led him to be a trusted liaison for clients looking to prepare a decision framework that they can depend on.
Chris’ exposure to BI/Visualization and Data Management technologies is unprecedented and includes technologies such as: IBM Cognos, SAP BusinessObjects, Microstrategy, Microsoft SSRS/SSIS, Pentaho, QlikView, Tableau, Tibco, Informatica, IBM Data Stage, and SAP Data Services/HANA. Few people in the BI industry have the knowledge to demonstrate the strengths and weaknesses of these market leading and emerging technologies. For this reason, Chris advises clients on how to make the best use of existing investments while considering new solutions. While technology strategy is a key strength, Chris’s B.B.A Management Information Systems and MBA in Business/Finance allow him to act as an advisor with EVP/C suite decision makers and technologists alike.

The WCI BI and data management resources that he leads, execute on the strategies that he develops for each unique client. Chris has worked in a number of verticals including: oil and gas, general and liability partners, retail, healthcare, real estate, bank and financial investment, public and education.
In addition to enterprise Business Intelligence and data visualization, Chris has a great deal of experience in developing data management strategies to create a sound data foundation. He is often asked to speak on topics surrounding the creation of insightful views of data for executive consumption.
